ABOUT
Founded in 2020, Visions of Empowerment promotes successful initiatives to help combat the unfair and inequitable distribution of health, education, and valuable resources into low-income communities, in an effort to produce real change, both in Memphis and across the nation. Our approach is to encourage humanitarianism, community involvement, and financial education to create effective and lasting change. Through community events, organized grassroots initiatives, and charitable donations, we work to restore stable, self-sustaining communities, and to challenge those within the communities, to be active, empowered, and encouraged to rethink what is possible, when we join together and work together, to be better for ourselves and the generations who carry our legacies forward into the future.

At Visions of Empowerment, we understand the weight and frustration of feeling like there is more out there for you, but not knowing where to turn to first. That’s why our mission is simple: give our participants the wellness education, tools, and resources that they need to feel happy, healthy, financially empowered, and capable of managing life’s pressures.

Visions of Empowerment knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly through the actions of our community initiatives. In 2020, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Visions of Empowerment.
