Welcome,

On behalf of the members of Project Life Foundation, Inc. all across the country, I welcome you and I encourage you as a fellow African American to participate in our efforts to “Reconstruct” the African American community. The model that I have created along with the assistance of our members will provide the African American community the opportunity to re-instill the cultural values, character, and beliefs that we were raised on in our community. It is time to return to the holistic community that we were raised on and to get rid of the individualistic thoughts and actions that we have today.

As a race we have lost our sense of community, and our history has been watered down to the point that most youth and young adult African Americans have no sense of who they are. We are the original people from the Nile Valley, and it’s time for us as a people to stop apologizing for being black. We are African American 365.

Implementation of the model will begin the process of returning self esteem and pride to members of the African American community and provides the necessary steps to implement a critical thought process and action strategy for economic, cultural, spiritual, political, and educational success. The process provides the African American community and its members with the knowledge and guidance needed to strive for excellence and to be successful in a global and pluralistic society.

The model was created by researching multiple institutions of higher learning as well organizations that prepare annual data reports concerning race, and education.

PLF, Inc. is committed to standing by its motto of "Helping Our People Today for a Stronger People Tomorrow"; and I encourage you to do the same.

Sincerely,

Jay Blankenship
