NAME CHANGE: The Senior Missionary Society voted unanimously in a regular meeting on Dec. 6, 2010 to request a name change for their organization. To be more in line with the naming of other organizations of the church, the request is to change the name to Missions Ministry. The mission of the organization will remain the same, which is to promote the cause of Christ through missions, promoting opportunities for sharing, strengthening and widening the vision of its members in the building of God's kingdom on earth. We feel the name change will also help the organization to be able to reach its goal of getting more persons involved in its cause. A positive response is requested at the July church conference.
